Ayrton Senna with Camel Lotus Honda 99T. 1987.
In 1987 Ayrton Senna began his relationship with Honda, which would be extended for five more seasons. With the Japanese engines won three World Championships.
1987 was the only season on which the Brazilian drove a completely yellow car, and despite having the Honda engine, he finished third in the drivers' championship, but showed his magic winning for the first time on the streets of Monaco, where would win up to six times in total.
After the show in 1984 with Toleman in Monte Carlo, victories in Portugal and Belgium in the rain in 1985 season, and his fourth place overall in both 1985 and 1986 Championship, O Rei fought for the first time for the World Championship.
